Dr. Mohammad-Amin Abdollahifar holds a Ph.D. in Anatomical Sciences, with expertise in cellular and molecular techniques and quantitative microscopy for studying neurodegeneration. His research has focused on stress-induced depression, neuroinflammation, and spinal cord injury. He has held academic and research positions in Iran and at the University of Saskatchewan.

Mohammad undertakes the training of our students and ensures the smooth running of the lab.

Outside the lab, he enjoys wrestling and volunteers as an assistant coach for the Jr. Huskies Wrestling Club.
